Sexyy Red celebrated the impending birth of her baby girl with a “Chyna Town” themed baby shower over the weekend.
The event, held at Venue 827 in St Louis, Missouri, was a lavish red and black affair attended by close family and friends.
Party planner Monica Lashon left no stone unturned as she transformed the venue into a real-life China town. The space was adorned with red flowers, paper lanterns and a custom floor decal that teased the baby’s gender and name with the words “Princess Chyna is on her way.”
Making a bold entrance, Sexyy Red arrived at her shower dressed in a custom cheongsam paired with a furry red cropped jacket. Her signature chain, proudly displaying the text “Big Sexy,” added a touch of her unique style to the ensemble.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Sexyy shared glimpses of the celebration with a series of videos. In one clip, the pregnant star showcased her twerking skills to her popular song while surrounded by her loved ones.
One post in particular raised eyebrows as it featured the musician bent over while a man seemingly hid his face between her “booty” cheeks. Red, with her characteristic humor, joked in the caption, “My bad if my booty stank.”
Throughout her pregnancy, Sexyy Red has maintained a level of mystery around the identity of her child’s father.
In a recent maternity photoshoot, she shared pictures with an unidentified man, his face blurred out. She captioned the photo, “Dats my bd,” indicating that the mysterious man with dreadlocks is the baby’s father.
Baby Chyna will be Red’s second child, following the arrival of her firstborn, Chukie, in 2020. According to Sexyy, her bundle of joy will be “dropping soon”
