NICKELODEON AND PARAMOUNT+ DROP NEW TRAILER FOR NEW THUNDERMANS MOVIE


The hit scripted Nickelodeon series, The Thundermans, wrapped up its fourth season in 2018. The void left fans wanting more of the crime-fighting superhero family. Well, the wait is over as Nickelodeon and Paramount+ have announced that they are bringing back the Thundermans, and all of our favorite Hiddenville residents, for a live-action movie. And of course, we have The Thundermans Return trailer for you to check out below!

Just what can fans expect from the upcoming movie? Take a look at a brief synopsis from an official press release of the action below!

The Thundermans Return follows twins Phoebe and Max who are enjoying their superhero lifestyle in a new city, but when one ‘save’ goes awry, the Thundermans are sent back to Hiddenville. While Hank and Barb enjoy their return, Chloe develops a new friend group, and Billy and Nora begin a normal high school life, Max and Phoebe are determined to regain their superhero status. The movie features the return of show favorites, including familiar locations, and new menacing supervillains.

The original cast members of the series will reprise their roles for the live-action movie.

The Thundermans Return will star Kira Kosarin as “Phoebe,” Jack Griffo as “Max,” Addison Riecke as “Nora,” Diego Velazquez as “Billy,” Maya Le Clark as “Chloe,” Chris Tallman as “Hank” and Rosa Blasi as “Barb.” And of course, The Thundermans wouldn’t be the Thundermans without Mrs Wong, and Helen Wong will be back as well!

The Thundermans Return is executive produced by Jed Spingarn (Big Time Rush, Jimmy Neutron) and directed by Trevor Kirschner (The Thundermans, Raven’s Home, The Conners). Stars Kira Kosarin and Jack Griffo are executive producing. Dan Cross (The Thundermans, Julie and the Phantoms) and David Hoge (The Thundermans, Julie and the Phantoms) also serve as executive producers.

Set your reminders because The Thundermans Return will debut on Paramount+ on Thursday, March 7th and that same day on Nickelodeon at 7pm ET/PT.
