MADONNA AND KIDS CELEBRATE SON ROCCO’S ART EXHIBIT

Congratulations are in order for Madonna’s eldest son, Rocco Ritchie as he has successfully debuted his solo art show, entitled, “Pack A Punch,” inspired by Muay Thai fighters. And of course, the proud mother-of-six took a moment out of her tour schedule to celebrate the moment with her son and other children.

The Queen of Pop took to Instagram to share a carousel of images of her night with her family in the Miami Design District and of course, she featured Rocco’s work in almost every shot.

“So happy to have the night off to enjoy my son Rocco’s’s latest collection of paintings called “Pack A Punch” inspired by Muay Thai fighters,” she captioned the post. “So Proud ! @miamidesigndistrict.”

The “Like A Virgin” singer, whose real name is Madonna Louise Ciccone, six children include: Lourdes, 27, Rocco, 23, David, 18, Mercy, 18, and 11-year-old twins Stella and Estere.

And of course, all of her children are extremely talented in their own rights. Madonna finds ways to nourish and encourage their talents and every because she sees motherhood as a “work of art” itself.

The “Papa Don’t Preach” singer told Vanity Fair in an interview last January that “… whoever you are, having children and raising them is a work of art. And no one gives you a manual. You have to learn from mistakes. It is a profession that requires a lot of time.”

Even though having Madonna and his father, English film director, producer and screenwriter, Guy Ritchie, as parents would open any door for the young artist, Rocco said in a recent interview that he first began navigating the art world under the pseudonym “Rhed”.

“Rhed was something I came up with to go under the radar in the first few years of making work. It doesn’t hold much deep meaning behind it, I just liked the way it sounded,” he said, stating that it wasn’t long before people discovered who he really was.

“I’m proud of who I am and where I’ve come from, but I knew people would have judged me aggressively in my early stages if I came out with my name. I wanted to develop technically before showing under my name.”

Congratulations, Rocco on your show! The pieces are phenomenal.
