KENYA MOORE AND MARC DALY WORK OUT A ‘PARENTING PLAN’ AMID DIVORCE

Kenya Moore and Marc Daly have finally finalized their divorce three years after their split.

Moore confirmed the news in a statement to People.com, saying, “After more than three years of litigation, I have finally been granted a divorce. I want to thank everyone who prayed for and uplifted me when I needed it the most.”

She continued, “I’m excited for this next chapter in my life and being the best mom I can be for my daughter, Brooklyn.”

Moore and Daly welcomed their daughter, Brooklyn Daly, on November 4, 2018 before splitting in 2019. Prior to filing for divorce in 2021, Kenya filed a court case over custody of Brooklyn.

At the end of that case, the reality star and her ex-husband agreed that she would have primary custody and he would have visitation. They also agreed to share legal custody and thus allowing Marc to have input in his child’s important life decisions.

Despite the divorce announcement, recent documents from Radaronline reveal that the specifics of their custody arrangement are still pending.

In a parenting plan submitted by Marc this week, he expressed his support for Kenya retaining primary custody and both parents sharing legal custody.

According to Marc’s proposal, each parent is responsible for their parenting time expenses, including travel costs , unless the father opts for parenting time in his state of residence of NY, in which case he covers the child’s flight expenses.

The plan also stipulates, “Texting and calls shall not unreasonably interfere with the other parent’s parenting time.”

In regards to child support, Marc disclosed a gross monthly income of $5k, while Kenya’s gross monthly income comes out to $50k before taxes. As such, Marc proposed he pay Kenya $521 a month in child support.

A judge has yet to rule.
