KEKE PALMER OPENS UP ABOUT GIVING SON “PROPER ROLE MODELS” TO BE A PART OF HIS VILLAGE

It unquestionably takes a village to raise a child. Thirty-year-old multi-hyphenate entertainer Keke Palmer is giving fans an insight into how she is structuring her village to ensure that 11-month-old son Leo’s has people around him that are “proper role models”.

“The village is really important,” Palmer said in a recent interview with Teen Vogue. Yet, the former Disney star did note that there is a difference between her home village and her work one. Palmer stated that her home village is “a bit less open”.

“It’s more about keeping Leo insulated with the people that I know and trust, that don’t just love him, but love themselves. That’s really big,” she continued. “It’s important that he has good examples. He observes everything. It’s about giving him the proper role models and making sure my family is around.”

Palmer, who currently, lives with her sister and her sister’s children, told the outlet that her parents will soon join her in California to be near their children and grandchildren. The new KeyTV Network founder is ecstatic that her parents will soon be closer to her because the more people who are a part of the village, the better.

“Tradition is a big part of the village as well,” Palmer says.
