Ahead of the Season 24 finale of NBC’s singing competition, The Voice, judge John Legend had a pair of VIP visitors visit him on set. The 44-year-old shared an adorable photo of himself with daughter Luna and son Miles, all seated in the iconic red hair.
“They’re always #TeamLegend,” the EGOT winner captioned the photo of himself with his children.
In the photo, Legend is pictured holding his two children as they all take a moment to enjoy the chair as seven-year-old Luna holds up peace signs and five-year-old Miles simply smiles.
In addition to Luna and Miles, Legend also shares two other children, five-month-old Esti and 11-month-old Wren, with wife, former model and Cravings cookbook author, Chrissy Teigen.
Back in August of this year, the 38-year-old opened up to in an exclusive interview with People Magazine about being a mom of four.
“For me, the hardest part is making sure the older ones feel loved and taken care of and just as special as the babies,” Tiegen said. “There’s a lot of diaper changing and feeding and it seems like you’re coddling these two little babies and they’re not getting enough. I think any parent of multiple kids can understand that you want to make sure they still feel loved.”
She continued, “I didn’t grow up around babies or children, so seeing my children experience a world with littles coming in, I see how that could be hard for them. So we try to do the best we can to make sure they feel fulfilled and happy and paid attention to and listened to. It can be a lot, it’s a lot to give yourself to little beings, but we sign up for it. We ask for it and we want to do it, and it’s all okay.”
Both Teigen and Legend are unmistakably setting an amazing example in parenting multiples. Their parenting journey is nothing less than transparent, demonstrating that although their efforts may not always run smoothly, they are creating special memories for their children and themselves to remember for a lifetime.
