Halle Bailey is showing off her pregnant belly in a throwback maternity shoot.
On Monday, the singer and actress took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes video of the underwater photoshoot.
In the clip, the Little Mermaid star could be seen effortlessly moving throughtout the water, embodying a real life mermaid.
As the camera rolled, Bailey struck several poses that highlighted her baby bump.
“Missing my belly already, but i obviously had to do underwater pics,” she captioned the post.
She later took to snapchat to talk about her decision to share “pieces” of her pregnancy journey.
“I am going to slowly but surely start to show little pieces of my journey, but i am not going to show everything,” she said.

She further explained that she kept her pregnancy underwraps because she “just wanted to make sure [she] had a beautiful, private, and healthy time in [her] journey.”
The underwater video, which she “really loved”, was captured by DDG, who was “worried” about her whole time Halle was underwater.
Halle Bailey and her boyfriend DDG welcomed their first baby together in December of last year. In a recent Youtube Vlog, the rapper praised Halle as a “great mom” to their son Halo.
“I wouldn’t have chose no other person in the world to have a child with. We learning she’s a great mom. It’s crazy. She’s amazing,” he said.
DDG also shared details about his son’s appearance, saying, “He’s great-looking. Think of a handsome kid, handsome child, newborn by the way. No features ain’t even fully developed. Just think about it, think about the most handsomest kid in the world, blend me and her looks together, but think of him as being the best features of us possible. That’s what he looks like. He’s a beautiful baby and a healthy baby.”
