As you may know, DomiNque Perry and Sarunas Jackson, brother of Darius Jackson, are in the midst of a custody battle over their 5-year-old daughter, Zen. Well, things are heating up as the Insecure star accuses Jackson of chocking her in front of her daughter.
In new recently filed court documents, obtained by People Magazine, Perry is alleging that she,”experienced emotional volatility, intimidation, bullying, undeserved stress, mental and physical abuse, controlling and narcissistic behavior, all over the past 5 plus years from Sarunas and his family.”
The filing continues with the Deadly Dispatch actress also alleging that she “was regularly bullied and intimidated (brother Darius admitted and confirmed). I was always nervous because I felt that I wasn’t ever good enough by the Petitioner and the family.”
Perry added that she was “blamed for our daughter being on the Autism Spectrum.”
Additionally, Perry added that in March 2020, Jackson “became more angry and grabbed me by the throat and started choking me.” The 35-year-old continued stating that, “He was so angry that he had blood coming from his mouth where he bit his tongue.”
Perry used another example of Jackson’s violence in her petition, alleging that this type of behavior from Jackson, “is the norm.”
“A few weeks later he showed up to my residence with scratches all over his neck and face. I asked what happened and he stated ‘he cornered his mom and they were fighting.’ The choking on his behalf is the norm. He is violent with women,” Perry alleged.
Two weeks ago, Jackson has made his own recent declaration, defending himself against the allegations.
Insecure star’s declaration read, “It is unclear where Respondent’s allegations of emotional volatility and intimidation are coming from. My family and I have always welcomed Respondent with open arms, inviting her to family events and showing her love and support in more ways than one. In return, Respondent has defamed my character to others, making them believe I am an absent father.”
The 33-year-old concluded that Perry’s allegations “have made me fear for repercussions in my career.” Jackson also states that he has a fear “… she would request court-ordered child support for greater than the amount that we have agreed to.”
Perry’s allegations come on the heels of Keke Palmer being granted a temporary sole custody order against Sarunas’s brother, Darius Jackson. Palmer has also alleged domestic violence against her ex-boyfriend in her lawsuit. Palmer and Darius share eight-moth-old Leodis “Leo” Andrellton Jackson.
