Chloe Bailey says sister Halle Bailey’s pregnancy was the “best kept secret ever”.
During the 2024 Urban One Honors: Best In Black event in Atlanta, the singer opened up to PEOPLE about keeping her 23-year-old sister’s pregnancy a secret.

Chloe confessed that maintaining the secrecy around Halle’s pregnancy was surprisingly “easy.” The key, according to the celebrity, was to keep Halle away from social media.
“We just ignore it. I would tell her, like, take social media off your phone, you know, I keep all her other secrets. So this was just another one in the books.”
Chloe also couldn’t contain her excitement as she gushed about her new role as an auntie, declaring she’s “on cloud nine.”
“She’s an auntie, she’s an auntie!” she excitedly told People about her new role.
Earlier this month, Halle and her her boyfriend DDG announced the birth of their son, Halo. In an Instagram post, Halle shared a photo of her holding her son’s tiny hand, which was adorned with a gold bracelet engraved with the name “Halo.”
“Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo. The world is desperate to know you,” she captioned the snap.
Since the reveal, the Little Mermaid star has treated fans to glimpses of her pregnancy journey, from behind-the-scenes maternity shoots to playful TikTok videos with her sister.
A throwback TikTok video posted by Chloe last week gave fans another peek into the pregnant star’s journey. The dynamic duo teamed up for a dance routine to the tunes of Drake, SZA, and Sexyy Red’s track “Rich Baby Daddy.”
Chloe’s caption, adorned with crying-with-laughter emojis, showcased the playful and close bond between the siblings.
