Beyoncé & Michelle Williams Show Support For Kelly Rowland At Premiere Of Her Latest Film, ‘Mea Culpa’
Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams are together again and we all love to see it.
Kelly Rowland received support from her longtime friends and former bandmates, Beyoncé and Michelle Williams, at the premiere of her latest film.
The 43-year-old musician and actress recently reunited with her fellow Destiny’s Child members, Beyoncé and Michelle Williams, at the New York City premiere of her new project, the Netflix thriller ‘Mea Culpa.’ The film was directed by Tyler Perry.

Kelly Rowland, who is also credited as a producer, takes on the role of criminal defense attorney Mea Harper. The storyline revolves around Mea as she tackles the murder case involving artist Zyair Malloy.

According to the synopsis, the film delves into “what happens when burning desire takes hold and things get hot . . . and dangerous.” Both Beyoncé and Williams shared posts on social media to congratulate Rowland after the event.
In her Instagram post, Beyoncé wrote,
“Dats my best friend! Dats my best friend!!!!! So proud of you Kelly”
In addition to her heartfelt sentiments, the singer posted numerous photos from the event. She was accompanied by a small group of loved ones, including her husband JAY-Z, and her mother Tina Knowles.
In Williams‘ Instagram post, seemingly reacting to the film, she said,
“Baaaaaaaaaaaby listen!! That’s all I can say about it!!”
During an interview on the Netflix carpet, Williams shared that she came to “support my sister Kelly Rowland and Tyler Perry.” The songstress continued by saying,
“This is a fun night for us. Kelly has been talking about this moment for a very long time.”
While being interviewed at the film’s premiere, Rowland described being the leading lady for the project as “quite an experience”.
She continued,
“I remember being very nervous when I read the script and I remember thinking about everything that an erotic thriller possesses and that made me very intimidated. And then I had a friend of mine who called me and he said, ‘You know, Kel, if it doesn’t scare you, what’s the purpose of doing it?’”
The Grammy-Award-winning singer added,
“And so I literally ran to it. I figured everything out. Tyler [Perry] was so amazing and instrumental in this whole process and Trevante [Rhodes] was just a pleasure to work with. I was very blessed.”
‘Mea Culpa’ is set to make its Netflix streaming debut on Feb. 23.
