ARI FLETCHER SPARKS DEBATE OVER LETTING SON “SAY SOME CURSE WORDS”

Ari Fletcher recently found herself at the center of controversy after she revealed that she allows her son, Yosohn, to use curse words while playing video games.

Fletcher, known for her unfiltered and outspoken personality, disclosed in a tweet, “I let yosohn say some curse words when he playing the game. I feel like it’s a way to express yourself. He doesn’t curse to or at me. But yall I just heard him say his fat a#s about to get me’ and I’m crying laughing so mf hard!”

The candid confession triggered a wave of responses from fans and critics alike, sparking a debate on the thin line between parenting and friendship.

Supporters argued that as long as the child respects adults and doesn’t direct profanity towards parents, it might be a harmless way for them to express themselves.

One fan expressed, “As long as he respects you and the adults around him, I don’t see a problem with it. Rather have him not hide it from you.”

Conversely, critics were quick to chastise Ari, accusing her of blurring the lines between parent and friend.

One person wrote, “You are parenting him like a friend instead of a parent. it’s sad.”

Unfazed by the criticism, Ari fired back at the naysayers, declaring, “The internet is so unrealistic and fake perfect. If you think your kids don’t curse behind your back you’re crazy. I don’t wanna hear all that [stuff] like please put a [sock] in it!”

Ari and rapper G Herbo welcomed their son Yosohn in 2018. Despite ending their romantic relationship, they continue to co-parent their only child together.

During a recent interview with WGCI, Ari shared, “Co-parenting is great, and you know it took a long time. We just in a great space and I pray to God that we can just stay right here where we at. Everything is smooth, it’s cool, ain’t no drama, it’s really good. He’s a great dad, I’m a great mom and I think that like we got like a healthy co-parenting relationship.”
