Angus Cloud’s Former Assistant Sues Late Actor’s Estate For More Than $300K In Alleged Unpaid Wages

Legal troubles continue to plague Angus Cloud’s estate.

As previously reported, Angus Cloud, best known for his role in the HBO Drama series “Euphoria,” died of an accidental overdose in July of last year. The 25-year-old’s body was discovered in his family’s home in Oakland, California. Unfortunately, since his death, the late star has been at the center of a few lawsuits over reported unpaid wages and unsettled debt.

Most recently, Angus Cloud’s former personal assistant, Jonathan Kim, said the actor owes him more than $300,000 in unpaid compensation. According to reports, Kim filed a Creditor’s Claim against Cloud’s estate, alleging Cloud failed to pay for services during his employment from September 2021 until July 2023. Attached to the lawsuit, Kim included alleged screenshots of text exchanges with Angus Cloud’s mother, Lisa Cloud, before the celeb’s death. Kim reportedly texted Lisa Cloud,

“He knows I’m fed up. We argue all the time lately about me always telling him stuff.”

Lisa Cloud allegedly responded,

“Me too. I always tell him that if you take care of things you have to do, no one has to ‘nag!’ I think the amount of drugs he takes all day every day immobilizes him in every way.”

In another alleged message, Angus Cloud reportedly texted Kim,

“My bad my g you just said you ain’t have bread. Can’t have my business patna out here pockets light bro plus that not even 10% what we [just made at] that event bra.”

Kim’s lawsuit isn’t the first filed against Angus Cloud’s estate. Earlier this year, the entertainer’s former manager, Diomi Cordero, took legal action for $94,000 in reported unpaid wages. Verizon also filed a lawsuit over an unpaid bill of more than $4,000.

In November 2023, JP Morgan Chase also filed a claim for a payment of more than $9,000, alleging Angus Cloud “purchased goods and/or services” totaling that owed amount.

His mother, Lisa, is reportedly listed in the lawsuit since she is now in control of his fortune.
