December has been quite a busy month for Amara La Negra and her twins. Not only did the trio attended the Migration movie screening in Miami at the CineBistro at CityPlace Doral, the royal twins also got their first opportunity to meet Santa Claus himself.

Amidst the emotional ups and downs of raising her daughters Sumajestad Royalty and Sualteza Empress alone, Amara La Negra (real name: Diana Danelys De Los Santos) is a truly dedicated single mother. Although at first, Amara La Negra was “embarrassed” by the fact that she would have to raise her children alone, the multi-talented entertainer is determined to provide her royal twins with both the love of a mother and father figure.
“I think there was a part of me that was a little bit embarrassed to say that I am a single mother, not necessarily by choice. I thought that I had chosen the right partner to make that happen, but it wasn’t like that,” the “Toa Toa” singer said earlier this year, in an interview with Parents Magazine.
She continued in her interview saying, “So, I don’t have another option. But that’s OK. I’m a mother, my children are within me and I have to take that responsibility and be that mother figure/father figure for my girls.”
The Afro-Latina celebrity shares her one-year-old twins with Dominican real estate broker, Allan Mueses. Since their birth, Mueses has been an absentee presence in the lives of his daughters. In a past episode of Love & Hip Hop Miami, Amara La Negra and Princess Love opened up about their experiences as single parents. Amara La Negra confessed that she feels like Mueses “…doesn’t want my girls.”
“For Christmas, I thought he would call. On New Year’s or their birthday.” Holding back tears in the scene, Amara La Negra continued, “I just hate that I feel like he doesn’t want my girls. And I know how it feels.”
Sumajestad Royalty and Sualteza Empress are the first two children for Amara La Negra. In addition to the royal twins, Mueses also has two additional daughters, Layla and Alanna.
